ANIMATIONS
Animations are used to demonstrate light effects and functionalities of luminaires in a clear way. Unlike videos, we work with static camera angles and focus on the behavior of light within a single scene, ensuring that every light transition is shown with precision.
This allows viewers to fully understand the product’s performance and ambience without visual distractions.
AMBIANCE WAKE-UP
Together with Philips Hue, we created animations that bring their Wake-up lighting scenes to life. Since it can be difficult to describe what dynamic lighting adds to daily life, these clear and focused animations help tell the story in an engaging and intuitive way.
The result helps consumers visualize the added value of Philips Hue lighting in a bedroom environment, showing how light can gently guide you from sleep to wakefulness.
ENTERTAINMENT AREA - BACK TO THE FUTURE
As an R&D project, we designed a living room scene with entertainment lighting integrated around a TV setup. Each luminaire was rendered individually, giving us full control over color and intensity during post-production.
By using the TV content as a dynamic color source, we created an immersive and synchronized lighting experience — where the lights react naturally to what happens on screen.
This type of animation is an effective way to demonstrate the functionality and emotional impact of smart lighting to consumers. In this animation, we use the colorful scenes of the movie trailer of Back To The Future.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
As part of an R&D project, we developed a festive living room scene featuring a Christmas lighting setup. The dynamic light effects are showcased both in the Christmas tree and in a linear light bar at the bottom of the screen.
This animation demonstrates how the light sequence travels from the beginning to the end of the string, visualized within a realistic and atmospheric setting.
BULB COLOR
For Signify’s myCreation collection, we created a series of animations that demonstrate the advantage of pairing the luminaires with Philips Hue bulbs. These animations clearly show how users can control color temperature and atmosphere directly through the app of Philips Hue.
We produced high-resolution GIF animations for each luminaire, optimized for web use. They are now featured on product pages across the webshop, helping consumers visualize the added value of smart lighting, and easily select a Philips Hue bulb when completing their purchase.
